Update: September 8th, 2020
Foothills is open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Unfortunately, due to staffing constraints we are unable to resume our Saturday hours.
We are taking new clients and patients and are seeing all types of appointments and scheduling surgeries at this time. Please note that we are continuing to provide curbside service for ALL types of appointments. We are asking clients to stay in their vehicles and call 406-556-0604 upon arrival and we will start your appointment or drop off via phone. We are providing outdoor appointments by special request as possible, weather permitting, so please ask if this is something you would like to pursue and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.
We recognize that there may still be financial security unrest so we have continued to offer two forms of payment that can spread out the financial burden of problems, emergencies, and ongoing medical treatments. Please visit our resources tab and look for Scratchpay and CareCredit for more information. We are asking if at all possible, clients pay with credit cards/debit cards over the phone as to minimize contact, however, we will take any form of payment you choose.
We ask for patience and understanding as we move forward as the number one priority at Foothills is to protect the health and well-being of our clients, patients, and staff.

Update: March 27th, 2020
Starting effective Thursday March 25th, we will be open normal business hours during the week with a rotating staff, but will no longer be open on Saturdays. This means that unfortunately due to the nature of the rotation we will be unable to accommodate doctor preference.
We will no longer be seeing wellness visits with the exception of puppy and kitten vaccine booster visits. We will only be seeing patients with problems, emergencies, and ongoing medical treatments moving forward until further notice. We are forward booking routine wellness and surgical procedures into June so feel free to schedule those now.
Starting immediately we are providing curbside service. We ask that all clients stay in their vehicles upon arrival and call 406-556-0604 and we will provide further instruction based on your needs.
We recognize that there is financial security unrest so we have added another form of payment that can spread out the financial burden of problems, emergencies, and ongoing medical treatments. We are asking if at all possible clients pay with credit cards/debit cards to minimize contact.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. Please feel free to contact us with any concerns you may have. Thank you!

The number one priority at Foothills Veterinary Hospital (FVH) is to protect the health of our clients, staff, and patients.
We are actively monitoring and following the guidance of the Montana Department of Health, Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO), as it relates to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. This will help us anticipate how the virus could possibly affect our employees, clients, and business in the coming weeks. FVH clients and employee wellbeing remains our top priority.
Unless otherwise directed by local authorities, Foothills Veterinary Hospital will remain open for appointments and surgeries as per our normal schedule. When visiting FVH, you will find hand sanitizer stations at the front counter as well as in each exam room. We will continue using our single use disposable cups at our coffee station, but the unit will be cleaned and disinfected after each use. Each exam room has always been cleaned after every patient visit, which will continue. We are taking extra measures to disinfect the door handles of every exam room after every patient visit as well. We are also disinfecting commonly touched surfaces multiple times throughout the day.
Many of you may be unaware that FVH has an online pharmacy, available via our website. This is an excellent opportunity to have your pet’s food and medications sent directly to your home. All prescriptions will still be closely monitored by the veterinarians at FVH. If you would like to refill please visit the link below or go to our website for further information. As always, feel free to call with questions, we would be happy to help.
